Starbucks Snowman Cookie Trend:
For this December photo, you’ll need to grab a snowman cookie and bite off the head.
Then, you will set up your photo projection as you like. This might be a cute blanket, I’m using a Christmas tree skirt and some twinkle lights. You can also use scarves or sweaters to make a cute woven backdrop.
It might be a good idea to have some fun props like a cute hat, socks, or scarf for your child.
All you have to do is position your child (if he’s older, you can also do this with him sitting on something where his legs hang out like a sofa, chair, or safety ledge). Then hold the cookie over it. This is all about perspective, so the cookie should cover the entire body, and its head sticking out from the top. It’s okay if their arms and legs stick out from the sides as well, or you can put their whole body under them.
Now you will notice that either the cookie is too blurry or the baby is too blurry. What you need to do is hold the baby’s face for a few seconds on your phone screen to lock the auto focus in place. This will ensure that the baby’s face remains crisp. From there, you may need to fiddle around a bit with the position of the cookie. It will never be as crisp as a baby’s face, but you also don’t want it to be too blurry, so the closer you get to having a baby cookie while keeping the baby covered is how you’re going to do it.
Under the Christmas tree
There are so many cute ways to go under Christmas tree pictures!
You can put the baby under it with the feet pointing towards the trunk, and put a bow on the baby with a message saying “Put under the tree to remind my family that I am a gift”
You can put a plate of milk and biscuits next to the tree and put the baby next to it with the words “Santa is jelly from my big round tummy” or “Santa, take the biscuits, but leave the milk”
You can also put your favorite Christmas book open with the baby sleeping on the open first page as if he was sleeping while reading while waiting for Santa.
If you have a nutcracker, you can also make a letter board that says, “Son of a nutcracker # days / weeks / months sleepless nights
Christmas Wish List
This Christmas wish list is one of my favorites and how we announced Baby Number 2 last year!
Even if you’re not making a pregnancy announcement, you can still do it for an important monthly photo, it’ll just say “All I want for Christmas is breast, milk, sleep and my front teeth” or whatever it is they’re working on at the time.
